Source Code Academia is looking for an experienced Online Qiraat Teacher to join our academic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate must have proven experience teaching Qiraat in a live online classroom and be comfortable delivering professional instruction in English through Zoom . Job Details Job Type: Full-time Work Location: Remote Working Hours: 8 hours per day 6 hours of live teaching 2 hours of academic and institutional responsibilities Schedule: Flexible timings, based on class schedules and academic requirements Responsibilities Conduct live online Qiraat classes through Zoom according to the academy's curriculum. Teach Qiraat with a strong focus on Makharij-ul-Huroof, Tajweed, articulation, pronunciation, recitation accuracy, rhythm, and recognized Qiraat methods . Correct students' recitation and provide clear, constructive feedback. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments. Monitor and document student progress regularly. Submit weekly student performance reports to the Head of Department. Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), faculty meetings, and academic discussions. Maintain a professional, structured, and engaging online classroom environment. Complete assigned academic and administrative responsibilities during the non-teaching portion of the working day. Requirements Proven experience teaching Qiraat online (Mandatory). Previous live teaching experience through Zoom (Mandatory). Strong spoken and written English (Mandatory). Strong command of Qiraat, Tajweed, Makharij, and Quranic pronunciation. Ability to explain Qiraat concepts clearly and effectively in English. Experience using Zoom and other online teaching/academic tools. Strong communication, classroom management, and student-engagement skills. Degree or formal qualification in Qiraat, Islamic Studies, Quranic Studies, or a related field is preferred. B.Ed/M.Ed or relevant teaching qualification is an advantage. Experience with advanced Qiraat or multiple Qiraat styles is an advantage. Important This is a strictly full-time position requiring an 8-hour daily commitment . Approximately 6 hours will be dedicated to live teaching , while 2 hours will be dedicated to academic responsibilities , including lesson preparation, assessments, student progress tracking, reporting, meetings, and other assigned academic tasks. English communication, Zoom teaching experience, and prior online Qiraat teaching experience are mandatory. Applicants without relevant online teaching experience will not be shortlisted .
